Page Loading Time, SEO & What You Should Considered

When building a website, you really have to take into consideration the variables that Google likes to see.  After all, Google is the most used search engine in the United States, so ranking for their algorithm is the best way to get a ton of traffic. According to Google, they rank faster loading websites higher than the slower loading ones.  This means that if your website takes more than 2.5 – 3 seconds to load, then it will most likely hurt your organic rankings in the search results.

You could have an awesome website designed, but it really wouldn’t mean anything if you don’t get a good amount traffic.  That’s why it is so important to make sure that your website has a fast loading speed.  Thankfully, there are several different programs, such as file compressors, that can help your pages load faster than how they currently are.

Compression Options

For file compression, Gzip is one of the most popular software tools in existence.  Unfortunately, even though very few know this, Gzip can actually be the very cause of your website’s slow load time.  However, there are several other file compressors, like mentioned before, that can do the trick and speed up your website’s page loading time.  Here are a few tools that will hopefully get your website loading faster and ranking better in the search engines!  Let’s get started.

I have started it because I’m always looking to improve the performance of the multiple websites I deal with. Before starting this project I was looking all around for HTML compressors, JavaScript and CSS compressors / minimizers. I tried lots of them, and after using them for a while I found some offer certain advantages, but many have issues with the produced code, that would render the file unusable.
